Screenings & Awards

Submission Guidelines

  • Film must be created by a currently enrolled student at a Virginia educational institution
  • Runtime must not exceed 15 minutes (including credits)
  • Film must have been completed within the last 2 years
  • Accepted formats: MP4, MOV, or AVI (HD 1080p preferred)
  • All genres welcome: narrative, documentary, experimental, animation, etc.
  • Films must have proper rights clearance for all music and content

What You'll Need

  • Film file (HD quality)
  • Film synopsis (max 250 words)
  • Director's statement
  • Film stills (3-5 high-res images)
  • Proof of student status
  • Credits list
